Structured and detail-oriented Credit Risk Analyst at Danske Commodities A/S

Right now we are looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to our Credit Risk Management team, where the primary task is to perform daily monitoring and analysis of counterparty exposure and margin call activities. Furthermore, you will be responsible for daily reporting on credit related matters both internal and external as well as having continuously contact with external parties. Finally, you will be involved in relevant development projects within the team.

The ideal candidate for this position has an economical background – this can either be in form of a financial education or experience within the financial industry. However, the most important aspect is that you can manage various assignments in a structured manner. 

Your responsibilities

  • monitor counterparty exposures in a timely basis and perform collateral management including negotiations and documentation of Parent Company Guarantees, Bank Guarantees, Prepayments and cash deposits
  • handle and optimise daily credit risk management reports including credit line reports, broker reports, CSA reports, etc,
  • participate and lead (when necessary) development projects which add value in Credit Risk Management processes
  • prepare the relevant part of the Monthly Risk Management Reports
  • respond diligently to all relevant questions and requests from internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner 

Your qualifications

  • have a financial background – either a university level education (bachelor, master, HD) and/or work experience from the financial industry
  • are analytical, well organised and have a good balance between detail and overview
  • have the ability to work with different stakeholders
  • are reliable and quality conscious
  • are well-founded in Excel
  • have a good command of Danish and English both written and oral
  • maybe have experience with VBA, SQL or similar, however not a requirement for the position
