Analytical and data-minded Portfolio Manager

Then we might have the perfect job for you!  Right now we are seeking a Portfolio Manager to our Short Term Portfolio Management team.

The primary task in this position is to take the responsibility for our existing portfolios of renewable and consumption assets, interacting with actors along the complete value chain within dc. Furthermore, you will independently drive the entry into new trading markets in the European power market as well as develop customer relationships.

The right candidate for this position is result-driven, willing to make a difference through constantly looking for new opportunities and are not afraid to make use of his/her stakeholder management skills.

Your responsibilities

  • manage Portfolios of renewables assets or consumption, ensuring independent management and operations of a portfolio of products
  • link dc’s product portfolio to the Intraday department through daily forecasting operations and regular sparring, ensuring aligned interests
  • be available to take shift routines in the forecasting team, working on weekdays as well as weekends
  • ensure stakeholder management in dc back-office. 
  • responsible for requests regarding the contract database or the provision of standardized data in order to allow, risk management, invoicing or reporting
  • provide Data Management support to colleagues, taking full responsibility of ensuring data quality and timely data handling.
  • be open to engage and drive new business cases, by taking contact
  • to external stakeholders, and being curious

Your qualifications

We expect that you:

  • have a university level education within Finance, Economics or Mathematics or similar
  • have experience with Excel and preferably also SQL or other programming languages
  • have the ability to work with different stakeholders
  • have a good command of English both written and oral
  • have a diligent and structured approach
  • are curious about data analysis challenges
