Experienced Algorithmic Trading Developer

We are looking for a candidate with minimum 1-2 years of experience within the energy industry, preferably dealing with algorithmic or automated trading strategies who is eager to take responsibility and develop our trading even further.

Your primary task will be to optimize and develop our automated trading strategies for our different Intraday portfolios and to always challenge and further develop the strategies that lie within the area.

Your responsibilities

  • optimize and develop the area of automated trading for Intraday’s portfolios
  • execute on actions relating to the area of automated trading in all Intraday markets, including backtesting of strategies and implementation and integration into current portfolios and processes
  • delegate tasks to other team members relating to the implementation of automated trading strategies
  • contribute to the implementation and integration of external software systems if necessary
  • optimize the profitability of all intraday products
  • contribute to the general business development
  • explore possibilities in the area of automated trading and
  • contribute with a creative approach to this field

Your qualifications

We expect that you:

  • have 1-2 years of experience from a similar position where automated trading strategies are a central part of the job
  • have experience from a quantitative analyst positions/senior quantitative analyst position
  • have a relevant education within Engineering, Finance, Economics, Physics, Software Development or similar
  • are able to use programming languages such as Python, Matlab, R, or similar
  • have a good command of English both written and verbal
