Market Analyst for growing renewables customer business

Do you want to be a part of the renewables megatrend and facilitate and contribute to the strategic direction of our growing renewables customer business? Right now, we are seeking a Market Analyst that has strong analytical and strategic skills and preferably a few years of experience from the energy markets.

In this newly established role, you will report directly to our VP, Head of Trading & Origination and your main responsibility will be to facilitate the development and maintenance of market strategies for all current and new markets where we offer Power Purchase Agreements for renewables assets. The role also includes collecting, structuring and analysing internal and external documentation and data in close coordination with relevant business teams and support functions.

As a person you have strong analytical skills and also possess good writing and communication capabilities. You have a structured approach to problem solving and are robust and assertive in your stakeholder management. Ideally, you have 2-5 years of energy market experience and a sound understanding of energy trading and energy markets in general. Most importantly, you are ready to use your skills in accelerating our customer-related activities in the growing renewable energy markets.


  • facilitate the development and maintenance of market beliefs- and strategies for all current and new markets where DC offer Power Purchase Agreements
  • collect, structure and analyse internal and external documentation and data
  • map and coordinate with key stakeholders in front- and back office
  • proactively analyse, identify and propose profitable business opportunities adding value to the already existing business areas
  • understand the customer needs and challenges with special attention to the customer-related renewables products and services
  • understand, implement and anchor DC’s governance structure for market strategies and new markets
  • understand and apply DC’s risk appetite and financial deal criteria when developing market strategies


We expect that you:

  • ideally have 2-5 years energy market experience
  • hold a university level degree within Business Management, Finance, Economics or similar, or have experience from the energy or financial sector
  • have strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • are fluent in the English language
  • have strong writing- and communication skills
