Trading Analyst for ambitious trading team

Our business is growing, and we are therefore looking to expand our analytical capabilities in our Power Markets team. The right candidate for this position is ambitious, has great programming skills, and can thrive in a hectic trading environment. You will be expected to quickly deliver in our existing setup where you are to develop and maintain models for the European short term market, in close collaboration with experienced analysts and traders. Your main responsibilities will be to understand and interpret market fundamentals and drivers, and to deliver structured analyses and price forecasts to traders and other analysts.

You will join a team of highly dedicated and skilled colleagues who are constantly challenging themselves and each other to be better than they were yesterday. So, if you have a winning attitude, a curious mind-set and are always looking to optimise and improve things, you might be exactly the analyst we are looking for.


  • develop and maintain quantitative models for European short-term power markets
  • independently build and implement automatic trading strategies
  • provide daily price forecasts and updates on market developments
  • proactively share and push market views to traders and fellow analysts
  • contribute to the overall analytical innovation in the Power Markets department


We expect that you:

  • have a Master’s or PhD degree within Finance, Economy, Mathematics, Physics or similar
  • have programming experience in Python, VBA, R, Matlab or similar
  • are fluent in English – both written and oral
