Right now, we are searching for a new colleague that will be the crucial link between our Gas Trading business, our Gas Portfolio business and our Gas Analysts. In the job, you will work closely together with the traders and have the overall responsibility for our gas storage portfolio, including pricing of new storages and planning of bidding strategies. Besides that, you will also get to work with hedging strategies and transport capacities.   

The ideal candidate for this position can either be a person that has experience from the business or a newly graduate that are motivated by getting close to the trading business. If you start as a newly graduate, you will get a thorough introduction to the Gas market and the role as a Gas Portfolio Manager. As a person, you are structured, able to keep a good overview over several activities, and finally you enjoy being the link between several stakeholders.  

We are looking for a candidate that is eager to make a difference for the team, and who are not afraid to take responsibility. You will become a specialist within the field, and therefore, it is important that you are detail-oriented, has a structured approach to work, and that you are able to work in-depth with your assignments.

  • pricing new storages and preparing bidding strategies
  • capture optimisation value related to the storage portfolio on both the forward and spot market
  • have in-depth knowledge of our individual storages
  • make sure we have clear communication between our portfolio team and short-term optimisation team on trading targets
  • ensure good corporation with internal and external stakeholders
  • involvement in other various portfolio tasks such as transport capacities, hedging strategies and daily operations
  • assist with ad hoc assignments in the gas team


We expect that you:

  • have a relevant Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar
  • have sound understanding of mathematics
  • have a good command of English both written and verbal
