Quantitative Analyst for Risk Analysis team

Do you possess strong analytical and quantitative skills? And do you thrive in an environment where you are given a great responsibility? Right now we are looking for an independent and passionate Quantitative Analyst, to join our highly ambitious Risk Analysis team. 

Your overall responsibility will be to develop well-founded models and analyses, while also ensuring a high quality in our internal quantitative model library. Besides developing various models, e.g. valuation models, you will also be working on ad-hoc analysis to support various business cases and our general risk management framework.

Responsibilities

  • development and maintenance of the quantitative model library, including ensuring a high quality of the library
  • development of valuation models including
    • data analysis
    • business analysis
    • model analysis and development
  • ad-hoc analysis to support e.g. business cases and risk management framework
  • ensure high performance of the models with regards to calculation and system resources  
  • ensure documentation of calculations, models and data according to standards
  • initiate improved workflows and processes

Qualifications

We expect that you:

  • have a relevant Master’s or PhD degree within Mathematics, Economy, Finance or similar
  • preferably, have experience from the energy industry or financial sector, however not a requirement for applying
  • have experience with a programming language such as VBA, R Python or similar
  • have strong analytical and quantitative skills and are able to analyse complex structures
  • have a good command of English both written and verbal
