Experienced climate markets professional for Danske Commodities

Are you an experienced professional within renewable electricity, biogas certificates, carbon markets or biofuels?

Our goals and strategy for the activities within the climate markets are extensive and we are looking to hire an experienced colleague to help us reach our ambitions of becoming leading, global climate market specialists. You will be working in a highly skilled team with a proven track record, where you will get the opportunity to be an integrated part of making the move to global reach within climate markets, including areas such as renewable electricity and biogas, biofuels and carbon.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality support on business development initiatives, including market analysis, data searching, drafting of business plans, preparation of power points and reporting. Moreover, you will become part of the trading aspect of the team including both portfolio management and trading on the screens.  

We are looking for an accomplished person, who is eager to work hard to succeed, both individually and as part of the team and to whom no job is too big or too small.

  • preparation of various presentations

  • reporting to the senior management
  • ensure a high degree of confidentiality


We expect that you:

  • have a relevant university level education within Finance, International Business, Economy, Engineering or similar
  • preferably, have 3-5 years of experience from a similar position in the energy industry
  • have a good command of English, both written and oral - and other languages are a plus
  • are an experienced user of MS Office (Excel, Power Point etc.)
  • have strong communication and presentations skills
