Data-minded profile for dynamic Finance team

We are looking for an outgoing and data-minded profile who can contribute further to an ambitious and talented team in our Finance & Accounting department.

The main responsibility of the job is to improve the way we use data in Finance & Accounting as well as optimise processes in the team. In the job, you will among other things build models that automate tasks and improve data quality, as well as use and build SQL databases that support the team with valid, consistent and transparent data.

Finance & Accounting is developing rapidly with a high emphasis on challenging the status quo, optimising processes and delivering value to both Finance and DC. The right candidate for this position is therefore quality conscious, likes a high pace, has a proactive mind-set and is willing to make a difference for the team.

Responsibilities

  • build models that automate tasks and improve data quality
  • focus on improving our internal data used for accounting, controlling and reporting
  • secure progress on projects
  • use and build SQL databases that supports F&A with valid, consistent and transparent data
  • run reconciliation processes, settlement models and participate in the ongoing operation in the team
  • gain insight in DC’s data and architecture
  • optimise processes in Finance & Accounting

Qualifications

We expect that you:

  • hold a relevant university level education, preferably within Finance, Mathematics, Economy or similar
  • have interest in working with Excel, VBA and SQL
  • are logically thinking and mathematically well grounded
  • work analytically and structured
  • are reliable and quality conscious
  • thrive in a high paced environment
  • enjoy working with data and coding
  • challenge the status quo
  • have a proactive mind-set
