Danske Commodities is one of the most successful Danish companies within energy trading. We are currently looking to hire two ambitious Junior Legal Assistants with a great legal toolbox. The two student jobs vary a bit in their main focus: One will have as main focus to assist the team in organising and systematising contracts and ongoing projects, whereas the other legal student will be dedicated to Compliance and assist with areas of personal data (GDPR) and the regulations applicable to trading on the energy markets.

Based on your profile, we will match you with the position that we believe would fit you the best, however you are always welcome to state in the application what your main interests are.

When joining, you will quickly get your own tasks and projects where we expect you to take responsibility. You will be an integrated part of Legal & Compliance consisting of 12 highly skilled professionals, who are passionate about their work and who walk the extra mile when it is necessary. Weekly working hours are expected to be approximately 10-15 hours, and you will have the possibility to work extra hours during holidays.


  • compile standard contracts
  • collect and adapt information in connection with the signing of contracts, including correct registration of relevant contract content
  • review of key data in all EFET Power and EFET Gas contracts
  • assist with ensuring compliance with regulations on personal data (GDPR) (Compliance)
  • assist with control measures and guidelines covering regulations applicable to energy trading (Compliance)
  • assist on different projects, including coordinating of follow-up and reporting
  • various ad hoc assignments


We expect that you:

  • are currently studying cand.merc.jur, cand.jur or similar university-level education
  • preferably are fluent in German both orally and written, however, not a requirement to be qualified
  • have a good command of English both written and oral
  • are structured and well organised
  • have an interest in contract negotiations
  • have a positive and constructive approach
  • are quality conscious and detail oriented
  • are devoted to duty
