Payroll Assistant for our People & Culture team

Danske Commodities is one of the most successful Danish companies within energy trading and right now we are looking for a new colleague to provide efficient, timely and high-quality payroll for app. 300 employees.

You may have experience with payroll or accounting. Regardless, you will receive a thorough introduction prior to taking over responsibility for the payroll and general support to the organisation in payroll-related queries.


  • monthly payroll for employees in Danske Commodities A/S – monthly salaried and hourly paid
  • contact person for international employees and international payroll agencies
  • contact person for employees and Udbetaling Danmark regarding parental leave and sick leave etc.
  • administration of pension contributions
  • accounting and reconciliation of payroll in Danske Commodities A/S and subsidiaries
  • handling of payroll inbox


We expect that you:

  • have minimum 1-2 years’ experience from a similar position (payroll or accounting or similar)
  • hold a relevant education, e.g. within accounting, bachelor of commerce, business diploma or similar
  • are an experienced user of Excel
  • have experience with MS Office, salary systems and/or HR systems (Visma løn / SuccessFactors would be an advantage)
  • have a good command of Danish and English both verbal and written

  • are efficient and diligent in responding to payroll-related queries from employees
  • are detail-oriented and have a structured approach to running the payroll in accordance with contracts and within deadline
  • thrive in an international, fast-paced environment handling individual requests on short notice in English language
