Digitally savvy wordsmith for student position

Are you looking to train you’re copywriting skills – and were you thoroughly annoyed by the mistake made in the previous sentence? Do you know what CMS stands for and can you find your way around various social media? Well hey there, we may just have a job for you in our Strategy & Communications team.

Injecting some pizzazz into our corporate universe
In the Strategy & Communications team, we master the classic branding, marketing and communications disciplines, ranging from website and social media maintenance to event planning and public relations. Our corporate strategy function is also a part of the team, which means that we are very close to top management and able to take a holistic approach to branding, integrating our efforts from the very beginning of all processes. In other words, as our new student employee, you’ll help us set the overall branding agenda for the company. We take pride in breathing life into the texts we produce, giving people a real sense of the company through our tone of voice and content.

Your journey to becoming an accomplished (and super cool) marketer
The first thing we’ll do is give you a thorough introduction to Umbraco, the CMS behind our website, and provide you with administrative rights to our social media channels, since your main job will be to help us keep these channels updated. We’ll have specific assignments lined up for you from day one: some assignments may be a bit routine (say for example updating titles on our website contact forms), but most will be creative and challenging (like writing social media posts or creating new content for our ‘meet our people’ subpages). After a few months, you’ll take over full responsibility for maintaining and developing content for our website and help our Senior Communications Specialist maintain our social media accounts. Since we’re a small team of seven people, who work closely together, you should also expect to be involved in other marketing-related assignments, such as assisting with creating and updating print material, helping with practicalities ahead of events and collecting data for our quarterly reports.

We’re known for giving our student employees a lot of responsibility, so in the long run, it’s up to you how much of a mark you want to make. You will report directly to the Head of Strategy & Communications.

You’ll join a team of creative and resourceful people, who always try to put a twist on whatever they do, so we as a company can separate ourselves from the pack in an exciting, but traditionally pretty corporate, industry. Also, be ready to discuss the latest pop-culture topics over lunch!
