Student Employee for trading analysis

Are you looking for an opportunity to get a student job that makes a direct difference for one of Europe’s most successful trading floors? And are you a number cruncher with a flair for data and coding? Right now, we have a job opening as a Junior Trading Analyst in an international trading environment in the heart of Aarhus, where your work will be used to make daily trading decisions.

Help make a difference for our business
In Power Markets Analysis we develop quantitative models to forecast power prices, describe market dynamics and price complex products across most of the European power markets. To provide this essential information to our traders and portfolio managers, we rely on thorough analysis of market fundamentals and robust data solutions. In our daily work, we work side-by-side with the traders, linking trading decisions with quantitative modelling and data.

Learn from the best and develop your skills
You will join a team of analysts with strong quantitative skills, who primarily have a background within Economics, Natural Sciences or similar, so you will have a great opportunity to learn from your experienced colleagues and develop yourself further.

The initial success criteria in the job will be for you to understand our existing tools and databases and be able to maintain these. In the longer term, you will get opportunity to increase your area of responsibility and proactively add to our analytical framework in the team.

We imagine that you are well underway with your bachelor’s degree in either Economics, Mathematics, Finance or similar, you have a basic level of programming experience and, most importantly, the hunger to learn more. As a person, you thrive in a dynamic environment and at the same time take pride in having an eye for the details in everything you do. So, if you are ready to turn theory into practice – come join us!

You will get continuous feedback on your work and enjoy a steep learning curve, working with experienced colleagues
