Our Business Controlling team develops and optimises financial solutions to ensure correct financial numbers. This is done in close cooperation with business teams as well as the other finance teams at Danske Commodities. The team develops solutions in SQL, VBA, RPA and Power BI, and everyone in the team has a knack for optimising and aligning processes to ensure data validity. We are a young and ambitious team, which is known for being hardworking, proactive and solution-oriented. We enjoy challenging each other and our colleagues, both at the office and through social and sports activities.
About the job
When joining us, you will get a thorough introduction to Danske Commodities, your tasks and your role in Finance & Accounting – which also includes training in SQL, VBA and other tools based on the skillset you bring. Next, you will be given the responsibility to solve tasks to further optimise our tools and processes to support the monthly closing procedures of our business teams. In the longer term, you will work independently on streamlining the tools, databases and processes that we use and become an integrated part of the monthly and yearly closing procedures.
We expect that you will proactively search for new areas or processes to improve. The main objective of the job is to streamline finance processes. This includes handling of large datasets, using SQL and VBA. In the job, you will work both independently and in collaboration with your team members and stakeholders across the organisation. You will get a deep insight into how we work and operate in Finance & Accounting and Danske Commodities in general.
