Market Access Coordinator

Are you structured and detail-oriented? And do you thrive with regular contact with both internal stakeholders and external authorities and market participants? Then you might be our new colleague, as we are looking for a dedicated Market Access Coordinator for our Market Access team.

Market Access in Europe’s leading energy trading company
Danske Commodities (DC) is a leading energy trading company. Every day, we complete thousands of trades, constantly moving energy from where there is more than needed to where it is needed most. To succeed, Market Access ensures continuous access to DC’s current markets but also to new markets. The Market Access team is responsible for making sure that all traders have access and are able to trade our products in all of our markets. As such, we create value on both an operational and a strategic level – supporting the entire organisation.

Join a team of dedicated specialists
Market Access consists of four dedicated and ambitious colleagues, who work closely together with our traders on setting up and making sure that DC is able to trade our products in all of our markets across the world. The team consists of market access specialists who work closely together with our Legal team. You will join a team with a shared goal of ensuring continuous access to our markets, including TSOs, authorities, exchanges, brokers and trading. The candidate we are looking for could have experience from the energy industry and, preferably, also knowledge about the energy markets, exchanges, brokers and the likes. However, what is most important is that you have a structured approach to your tasks, that you are not afraid of taking responsibility for processes and that you enjoy working with various stakeholders as the key focus is to support our trading teams by coordinating market access projects.

Your first assignments and further professional journey
Your most important responsibility will be to ensure access to new and existing markets and trader-setup at exchanges and brokers. To help you succeed, you will get a thorough introduction to DC, the team, your tasks and our products. Your first assignment will be to get an understanding of and handle our trader setup at exchanges and brokers. On the longer term, you will be responsible for the coordination with authorities, TSOs and DSOs, and manage our trading licenses globally. Furthermore, you will be involved in our product approval process and coordinating the setup of new markets and products globally. And best of all, this is a unique opportunity to work closely with our passionate traders.

You will play a key role in ensuring access to new and existing energy markets!
