Student employee to help build automated trading tools

Do you want to become a machine learning wiz? And would you like to be mentored by some of the most skilled people in the field? Then we might have a job for you, as we are currently looking for a student employee to join our ambitious Automated Trading team.

Intelligent trading through automated solutions
In Automated Trading, we support our business teams in developing, implementing and monitoring algorithmic strategies. We are driven by our common goal of making better and faster trading decisions, always pushing our strategies and analyses into new territory. Among other things, we do this by equipping the traders with a broad suite of market execution tools as well as data-driven decision-making models. To do so, we work closely together with the traders to generate new ideas and strengthen our power trading business.

Join a team of specialists
In the team, you will work alongside a pool of talented specialists ranging from economists, physicists, developers and machine learning specialists – in a mixed group of PhDs, master’s and students like yourself.

We imagine that you are either studying your bachelor’s or master’s degree within Economics, Mathematics, Software Development or similar. In other words, a background where you in one way or the other get an insight into data handling, data analyses and programming.

Work to see your algorithms do magic
With us, you will get to engage in programming and data crunching. No matter what your experience level is, we will make sure you get a thorough introduction to the team, your tasks, the power markets and how we work. You will assist your colleagues with preparing and analysing data for algorithm development, testing hypotheses and supporting the reporting process – always evaluating the performance of the tools we create.

In time, you will get to support in building the algorithms yourself – algorithms that will ultimately decide how we make sound and profitable transactions within the power market.

Working with us will give you a great insight into the energy markets and an opportunity to influence trading strategies
