Internship: Process Improvement and Automation

Are you looking for an internship in which you can use your analytical and data science skills acquired from university? And do you dream of working with tools to optimise and automate energy trading processes? Then you’ll fit right in as our new intern in the Process Improvement & Automation team!

A team of dedicated colleagues eager to optimise and automate energy trading processes

As our new intern, you will join a team of creative and committed automation consultants and process specialists who work closely together with stakeholders across the entire organisational value chain, supporting everything from trading, back office and IT.

Our Process Improvement & Automation team ensures that we automate business processes to free up time for our employees to do more creative work. Using modern services, techniques and tools, we ensure the best possible support for continues process improvement. We create value by reducing inefficiency in the business across the whole organisation by utilising technologies such as Robotic Process Automation and programming languages.

The internship: process data and process mining

Starting out, you will get an introduction to DC and the team. During your first period, you will be introduced to how Process Improvement & Automation works, our different systems and data sources at DC. As our new intern, you will be responsible for your own project during your internship and collect information about process data and process mining internally by talking to various internal stakeholders and reading articles, books or forums to apply the collected information and transform it to a project. Throughout your internship, you will choose a use case for the project, designing process mining infrastructure and building a prototype. And one thing is for certain, you will be given various challenging and educational programming and analysis tasks from which you will get a unique opportunity to apply your skills from university to impact real data. It is therefore crucial that you are passionate and curious about process analytics, data science and data mining.

The tools we develop are business critical and create value for our stakeholders, making it crucial that we always deliver creative and stable solutions.
