Payroll Coordinator with an appetite for both international and local payroll tasks

Would you like to work in a HR team of passionate, competent, and helpful colleagues, who have fun along the way? And do you dream of working in an international company where you will also get to work with global mobility? Then you might be the colleague we are looking for.

Join a team of dedicated experts in an inspiring work environment

Danske Commodities (DC) is an energy trading company that specialises in short-term power and gas trading and offers balancing, optimisation and hedging services to energy producers and suppliers. Every day, we complete more than 8500 trades across 39 countries, constantly moving energy from where there is more than needed to where it is needed most. DC is a wholly-owned subsidiary to Norwegian energy company Equinor, operating under its own name and brand.

Our payroll team is part of DC’s People & Culture unit, which manages all areas of compensation and rewards for employees at DC. We drive and design salary, benefits, bonus and global mobility processes as well as facilitate performance management – the team is an essential and trusted partner across the organisation. As our new colleague, you will join a team of easy-going and efficient payroll, performance and reward experts with a keen eye for detail, who work closely together with the rest of our People & Culture unit consisting of 11 HR colleagues in total. We are dedicated to delivering great service and we take pride in helping and caring about our 350 colleagues. In the team, you will experience a joyful culture, where we discuss challenges and successes openly, as we always strive to learn and improve. The hierarchy is flat, and if an idea is good enough, it doesn’t matter who proposed it. The best argument always wins.

Get valuable insights into rewards and performance management in a continually growing organisation

No matter your level of experience, we will make sure you start out by getting a thorough introduction to DC, the team, your tasks and our systems. You will take an active part in the monthly payroll processes and get the opportunity to support on tasks within global mobility. We will of course make sure to train and support you along the way. Before long, you will drive some payroll activities independently and make an impact by delivering great service to the organisation. Further, you will be the first point of contact for our international employees being expatriated or inpatriated as well as the main contact for our external global mobility service providers. In short, this position is a great opportunity to learn, develop and gain valuable insights into the full value chain of compensation and benefits in an international company.

We’re taking off on a global growth journey and aim to support our international employees in the best way possible
