Who are we?
Danske Commodities (DC) is an energy trading company. Every day, we complete more than 8500 trades across 39 countries, constantly moving energy from where there is more than needed to where it is needed most. As such, IT security is a top priority!
In IT Operations & Services, we enable, develop and facilitate the IT enterprise environment, which hosts the organisational IT services and solutions in a fast-paced business environment. We are continuously optimising our platform with new and best-practice solutions to ensure high availability, stability, performance and security. We always strive towards working with the newest and the best! Our server environment is state-of-the-art, and you won’t get to work on iron like ours many other places.
You will join a team of social and collaborative peers who share a passion for IT and a can-do attitude. As such, we are a team with a strong focus on team spirit, and, to top it off, we are also very nerdy! Some are nerdy about IT hardware, some about games, others about wine – and we are eager to hear about your passion too.
Buzzwords for the Bizz-nerds
As our new IT Security Engineer, you will start out by getting a thorough introduction to our IT security landscape and architecture. You will be working with us on maintaining and maturing our IT security landscape. This includes working with Cloud Security such as conditional access and secure core. You will also work on MDE and IDS. Some days will be spent with forensics for devices and network, as well as malware, spyware and ransomware precautions. The list of cool tools goes on – Qualys Guard, Vulnerability Scan, MITRE Att&ck Framework, Zero Day Exploit, Azure Sentinel – seriously, we could keep doing this… but you probably get the point: a lot of awesome tools in your toolbox to work with!
Who are you?
We imagine that you have some experience working with IT operations, preferably 3-5 years, with knowledge about Windows, Linux and network architecture. We would also like if you have good knowledge on operational security.
…or maybe not. Maybe you don’t match the profile above, but still think you would be perfect for the job! Then you should apply too! We don’t necessarily need to see any certificates; sometimes practical knowledge is just as sufficient!
The most important thing is that you are passionate about IT security, that you are curious about new initiatives (on both sides of the battle), that you want to enhance your knowledge on IT security architecture and that you are a technician in your heart of hearts.
