Vacancy

Junior QA Analyst for key business applications

Do you have solid problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset? And would you like to support the improvement of quality assurance (QA) of our key business applications? Then you should look into this interesting opportunity of becoming our new Junior QA Analyst.
ETRM Center of Excellence at Danske Commodities
Danske Commodities (DC) is an energy trading company that specialises in short-term power and gas trading and offers balancing, optimisation and hedging services to energy producers and suppliers. Every day, we complete more than 15,000 trades across 39 countries, constantly moving energy from where there is more than needed to where it is needed most. The foundation for our business and the traders’ 24/7 trading schedule is based on the solutions that our IT teams deliver. The ETRM (Energy Trade and Risk Management) Center of Excellence team supports and enhances the core IT business applications for data management. Our work centralises around an ETRM application called Allegro, and together with vendor consultants, we excel in taking this platform and the supporting systems to the next level.

Enhance the quality of frequent deployments in the ETRM programme
You will join a diverse and capable team. Our different backgrounds, nationalities, levels of seniority and competencies are what make us a high-performing team. We work closely together with both the business and other IT teams to deliver speed and quality when enhancing the ETRM landscape. We take great pride in ensuring that our solutions strategically fit the growing business, and we are always up for the next challenge. As such, our team is heavily involved in the entire process from when an idea is born until it is fully grown – and then all the way to ensuring that solutions are sufficiently tested and supported on our platform. This means that having hands-on experience with IT project implementation is an advantage.

Become a key part of our strategic IT projects
Starting out, you will get a thorough introduction to the team, your tasks and how we collaborate. Your first assignment will be to thoroughly understand how quality assurance (QA) is done in ETRM. You will gain this understanding by working alongside our test manager, improving test automation in Allegro. On the longer term, you will be the key resource in ensuring efficient and accurate deployment in large, cross-organisational IT projects with ETRM as a key solution element. As such, you will play an important part in allowing our platform to scale and stay a committed enabler for DC’s ambitious growth strategy.

You will be working in the centre of the DC value chain and be part of ensuring our ability to scale the business
