Then you might be the junior trade controller we are looking for!
Customer Operations & Reporting at Danske Commodities (DC)
You will join our newly established Customer Operations & Reporting sub-team, which is part of the Finance & Accounting team. The sub-team was created to meet our strategic initiatives aimed at significantly growing DC’s customer business. We are a team of skilled, quality-minded and committed trade controllers, covering different areas within trade validations, master data quality and compliance reporting. As such, we are a diverse team with different professional and educational backgrounds.

We collaborate closely with other teams in Finance & Accounting, and we continuously support each other to optimise our ways of working and deliver value-creating support to the business.

Your journey as our new junior trade controller
Starting out, you will get a thorough introduction to the team, your tasks and our customer and compliance principles at DC. Once you are settled in, your first assignment will be to gain a solid understanding of the DC organisation as well as the needs of DC’s customer business. Down the road, you will play a significant role in supporting our Customer Operations & Reporting team members with the daily operations as well as optimising processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • support trade controllers with handling trade validation, confirmations and clearing
  • quality assurance and maintenance of various types of data related to DCs commodity trades, including contract master data and metering data
  • support the organisation in establishing an effective customer business when entering new market areas or trading new products
  • support your colleagues in the Customer Operations & Reporting team with ad-hoc assignments

Qualifications

we expect that you:

  • are enrolled in a relevant education within finance, economics, controlling or similar
  • are a skilled user of Excel
  • are proficient in and English, both verbal and written
  • can work approx. 15-20 hours a week

  • are innovative, not afraid to take responsibility and always looking to optimise things where possible
  • are structured, detail-oriented and precise: we handle a lot of data that require great attention to detail
  • have a positive view and are ready to take on new challenges – you should be ready and open to learning how we work and operate in the Finance & Accounting team
  • are curious by nature and willing to learn more about the field we work in
