Process improvement & automation consultant
Do you have experience with Python (or are you curious to learn)? Do you thrive on working analytically? And does it motivate you to optimise workflows? Then grab this opportunity to join our Process Improvement & Automation team and make a difference for the business and your colleagues!
Here’s what the job entails
In the role, your primary function will be to support and enable Danske Commodities’ global trading activities through custom-built software solutions. Concretely, your areas of responsibility will include the following:

- support with maintaining and keeping our solution landscape operational
- collaborate closely with your global colleagues
Meet the team
As our new colleague, you will join the Process Improvement & Automation team in which we develop custom-built tools and automations across the entire business. As such, we create value by optimising and automating repetitive and time-consuming processes. We collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business (and across office locations) to scope and define projects in the best and most value-creating way.
You will become part of a small team of eight colleagues. We are a motivated and highly skilled team with diverse backgrounds. And if you appreciate a great team spirit with daily giggle guarantee, you will fit right in.
If you dream of building high quality software solutions in the dynamic energy industry – while enabling the energy transition – you might be our newest process improvement & automation consultant!
But enough about us… over to you!
As you will be working closely with various stakeholders across the business, we are looking for someone who thrives on collaborating and communicating. Also, as we work with business-critical systems, we image that you take a structured and quality conscious approach.
We are also looking for someone who:
- has a relevant educational background within Business, Information Technology or similar – but your educational background is not the tipping point for us; what we are looking for is someone who is motivated to make a difference by optimising and automating processes
- has experience with Python (or is curious to learn)
Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
