Student employee to assist Head of Finance
Are you detail-oriented with a structured approach? Do you thrive on communicating with various stakeholders? And would you like to work closely with the Finance Management team in a global energy trading company? If the answer is yes, yes and yes, you might be the perfect fit as our new student employee for our Finance Director!
Here’s what the job entails
In this role, you will organise workshops, prepare presentations, provide input on relevant topics, ensure progress on different initiatives and align activities with the overall strategy for Finance. Your responsibility will also be to assist at internal leadership meetings, including meeting preparation, meeting follow-up, off-site meetings and ad hoc requests.
Meet the team
As our new student employee, you will become part of an innovative organisation with a big mandate. In Finance, we are approximately 55 employees working across six teams. There is a positive and energetic culture in Finance, where everyone works in the same direction with a common goal, and where it is expected that everyone contributes and challenges the status quo, regardless of their seniority.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Management in the Finance Department at Danske Commodities, contributing to strategic, tactical and operational considerations in a daily routine characterised by high ambitions, optimisation and globalisation
But enough about us… over to you!
As you will be working with strategic and operational projects at an executive level, we are looking for someone with an outgoing personality and a structured approach, where you like to have many things going on at the same time. It is also important that you are independent and not afraid to take responsibility and bring ideas to the table.
Furthermore, we imagine that you:
- are detail-oriented and respect confidentiality
- take a positive view: no job is too big or small – the team covers a wide range of tasks and we always help each other in getting the job done
- are currently enrolled into a relevant education within Finance, Business, Strategy or similar
- are an experienced user of PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- are fluent in English, both written and verbal
Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
