
German-speaking student employee for Commercial Asset Management

Here’s what the job entails
You will primarily focus on supporting our energy asset business, with a special emphasis on the German market. Concretely, your responsibilities will include:
develop an understanding of the German energy market
- participate in external meetings to provide solutions for our customers (such as owners of wind turbines or photovoltaic parks) to grow their businesses
- support your colleagues on their tasks, mainly within the German energy market
- collaborate closely with middle and back office teams in DC as well as our parent company, Equinor
- contribute to the planning and execution of commercial events and trade fairs to increase visibility for potential new customers
Meet the team
As our new junior customer coordinator, you will join our Commercial Asset Management team, dedicated to optimising Danske Commodities’ customer-related activities in Europe. The team collaborates closely with our European Origination team to grow our customer business by for instance drafting contracts, managing tender processes and driving business development.
In the team, we share a deep understanding of the energy market and our customers’ needs. We have an informal tone, and we firmly believe that teamwork is the key to success. We are a diverse team with various nationalities and backgrounds, and our team members are spread across various European office locations.
You will gain great insight into the energy markets – something, they don’t teach you in school. And in time, you will craft solutions that empower our customers to grow their businesses

As our new junior customer coordinator focusing on our German customers, we are looking for someone who is service-minded, takes a structured approach and thrives in a dynamic environment working on different tasks.
Concretely, we imagine that you:
- are currently enrolled in a relevant education within Economics, Finance, Business or a similar field
- have an interest in the energy markets
- are fluent in German – both written and verbal
- are proficient in English – both written and verbal
- can work approx. 15-20 hours per week
Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
