Cross commodity trader
Do you have 3-5 years’ of power trading experience with a solid grasp of power flows across Europe? Are you skilled in data analysis and modelling, with advanced skills in Excel and/or Python? Then you might be the cross commodity trader vi are looking for to explore and uncover trading opportunities in power markets across Northern Western Europe!
Here’s what the job entails
In this role, you will play an active part in the daily management of our structured products, gaining valuable experience in managing a portfolio of gas, power and EUA options across the term structure.
Concretely, your areas of responsibility will include:
- analyse and provide trade recommendations on intra-month power markets
- ensure the accuracy of data inputs to the option valuation models
- trade day-to-day delta hedging of our options
- take part in the continuous development of the position management capabilities of the desks
- develop into a consistently profitable trader
Meet the team
You will join our Cross Commodity Trading team, where we specialise in trading power, gas and EUA options. You will be part of an experienced team of two traders and three analysts. We are a curious and dedicated team, always striving to increase our understanding of the energy markets and improve our trading decisions.

We are looking for someone who takes a curious and coolheaded approach when analysing data and making trading decisions. As we operate in an ever-changing market, it would also be ideal if you are adaptable and thrive in a dynamic environment.
We also imagine that you:
- hold a relevant educational background, for example within Finance or Economics
- have 3-5 years of power trading experience
- have experience in data analysis and modelling
- are an advanced user of Excel and/or Python
- are proficient in English – both written and verbal
