The job

Here’s what the job entails

In this role, you will onboard new customers and their assets, and to succeed you will work closely with the customer-facing teams at Danske Commodities.

Concretely, your areas of responsibility will include:

  • support customers with their inquiries
  • handle operations in external systems
  • maintain and validate asset data, metering data and customer data
  • coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
  • stay on the forefront of new market rules

Meet the team

You will join our Customer Operations & Reporting team, which is a diverse group of 17 skilled, quality-minded and committed colleagues handling trade validation, master data, customer onboarding and compliance reporting. Our team gathers all operational tasks related to our trading and customer business to connect Danske Commodities’ entire value chain. By ensuring proper onboarding, timely reporting and high-quality trade controlling, we create a very efficient operational trading setup and pave the way for growing our customer business.

You will play a key role in our value chain as you will be responsible for the daily operations related to our customer activities like wind turbine or photovoltaic park owners.
Your qualifications

As you will be handling a lot of data, we are looking for someone who pays attention to detail and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. We also picture you as someone who thrives on working in a structured way and finds the best solutions to keep our business running smoothly.

We also imagine that you:

  • have an education in Economics, Business Administration or a similar field. But your background is not the tipping point for us as long as you enjoy working with data and can turn broad information into specific actions
  • have experience with Excel, SQL and Power BI (or are curious to learn)
  • have solid coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • are proficient in both written and verbal English and Italian

Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
