Here’s what the job entails
In this role, your main focus will be to optimise DC’s portfolio across Europe, including wind, solar and consumption. Concretely, you will be responsible for :
- trading power across Europe and handling the Intraday Power Trading’s portfolio in active grids
- conducting, evaluating and acting on market analyses
- developing trading strategies and tools using a quantitative approach in collaboration with other teams
- participating in the team’s 24/7 trading shift scheme

As our new senior trader, you will join our Intraday Power Trading team which operates around the clock. Besides trading, we constantly analyse the market and seek new opportunities, which could be integrated into our cutting-edge algorithmic trading setup .

As you will be working in a fast-paced trading environment, we are looking for someone who thrives in quick decision-making and maintains a cool head. We also picture you as someone who is great at analysing data, acts swiftly and reflects on every decision made to improve our performance.
We also imagine that you:
- have at least four years of experience in intraday power trading on the European power markets
- are experienced in coding languages such as SQL, R or Python
- are proficient in English – both written and verbal
