Here’s what the job entails
In the role, you will act as a trusted advisor and right hand to the CIO, ensuring strategic and operational priorities are achieved effectively. You will gain valuable exposure to executive decision-making, and collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organisation and help drive initiatives forward.
Concretely, your areas of responsibility will include the following:
- prepare and deliver accurate and timely materials on behalf of the CIO
- lead projects and organisational development initiatives across the Technology unit and the wider organisation
- contribute to the development and delivery of the technology strategy
- provide proactive day-to-day operational support, including managing complex scheduling, meeting preparations and communications
Meet the team
In the role, you will join our Executive Support team – six dedicated colleagues providing high-level support to DC’s Senior Leadership. While part of this team, your day-to-day work will be embedded in the Technology unit with more than 200 employees. The unit keeps the business running through core systems, critical processes and structured, validated data, and is currently implementing product thinking while scaling our digital transformation.
You will work closely with DC’s largest unit, Technology, to strengthen our competitiveness and scalability – while contributing to an inspiring workplace.

As you will have the responsibility for a wide range of tasks that require you to take initiative and follow up, we are looking for someone who comes up with a lot of ideas and thrive on working with multiple tasks – in a structured manner.
We also imagine that you:
- hold a relevant educational background within Information Technology, Business Administration, Communication or similar
- have experience from a similar position
- naturally build trust and relationships across diverse stakeholders
- have solid organisational and project management skills
- are proficient in English – both spoken and written
The maternity cover position will be effective from the earliest possible date until December 1st, 2026. Also, please note that prior knowledge of the energy sector is not required for this role.
