Danske Commodities appoints Kristian Majland as new Chief Information Officer Energy trading company Danske Commodities has today announced the appointment of Kristian Majland as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO) and VP, Head of Technology.

Kristian Majland, formerly heading IT at Centrica Energy, joins Danske Commodities with a wealth of experience in leveraging technology to drive strategic growth within energy trading organisations.

"Bringing Kristian Majland on board is an important strategic move for us," said Helle Østergaard Kristiansen, CEO of Danske Commodities. "Kristian has a deep knowledge of the energy trading sector and a keen understanding of the vital role technology plays in advancing companies in the energy trading sector.”

Kristian Majland officially assumed his role as CIO at Danske Commodities on November 1, 2023.
