Executive assistant to CFO (maternity cover)

Here’s what the job entails
In this role, you will act as a trusted sparring partner and right hand to the CFO, ensuring that strategic and operational priorities are achieved effectively. You will gain valuable exposure to executive decision-making, collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organisation and help drive initiatives forward.
Concretely, your areas of responsibility will include the following:
contributing to strategy development and execution
preparing and delivering accurate and timely material on behalf of the CFO for leadership teams and Board of Directors
planning, preparing and facilitating leadership meetings within the Finance, Risk, Legal & Compliance unit
leading projects and organisational development initiatives within the Finance, Risk, Legal & Compliance unit as well as across the organisation
providing proactive day-to-day operational support, including managing complex scheduling, meeting preparations and communications
The position is a maternity cover and time-limited to one year.
Meet the team
In the role, you will join our Executive Support team – a team of six dedicated colleagues providing high-level support to DC’s Senior Leadership. While you are part of this team, your day-to-day work will be embedded in the Finance, Risk, Legal & Compliance unit, which has 130 employees. Although the Executive Support team operates across different units, we meet regularly to collaborate, share ideas and foster a strong sense of team spirit.
You will be at the heart of our Finance, Risk, Legal & Compliance organisation working on strategic, tactical and operational matters.

As you will have the responsibility for a wide range of tasks that require initiative and follow-through, we are looking for someone with strong problem-solving abilities, proactive mindset and excellent communication skills.
We also imagine that you:
hold a relevant educational background within Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar
have experience from a similar position
naturally build trust and relationships across diverse stakeholders
have solid organisational and project management skills
demonstrate integrity, discretion and professionalism in everything you do
are proficient in English – both spoken and written
Please note that prior knowledge of the energy sector is not required for this role.
