The job

Here’s what the job entails

In this role, you will handle core accounting tasks while contributing to optimising and automating processes across Finance Operations. You will contribute to ensuring timely and high-quality debt management of our customers, supporting both deadlines and business needs.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:

  • daily accounting operation, including debtors, invoicing and payment follow-up

  • supporting month-end close tasks such as accruals and reconciliations

  • managing customs declaration across multiple countries

  • identifying and executing on opportunities to optimise and automate internal processes

  • participating in relevant projects and ad hoc tasks

You will join our Accounting & Invoicing team in Finance Operations. We are responsible for all registrations regarding our customers and ensure accurate bookkeeping and reporting across markets.

We are a team of nine skilled colleagues who value collaboration and mutual support. We take pride in delivering high-quality work while always looking for smarter and more efficient ways of working – and we believe work should be both professional and enjoyable.

Your qualifications

As you will be working with accounting in a complex domain, we are looking for someone with a positive and structured mindset, and that thrives in a role where accuracy and continuous improvement go hand in hand. You should also be curious about how processes can be optimised and enjoy exploring how technology can support smarter ways of working.

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

  • have experience with accounting

  • are familiar with ERP systems

  • have an interest in or experience with optimising and automating processes (e.g. using digital tools, AI or similar)

  • are analytic and solution-oriented

  • are proficient in English – both written and spoken

Please note that prior knowledge of the energy sector is not required for this role.
