Show job details

Experienced in end-to-end payroll processing with solid knowledge about payroll compliance topics? Motivated to develop and optimise how payroll is done? Bring your expertise into play with us.

The job

Here’s what the job entails

In the role, you will be co-responsible for our Danish payroll activities and drive how payroll processes evolve in a dynamic and international environment with opportunities to also work with global payroll activities. You will act as a confident stakeholder partner supporting leaders and employees on payroll and compensation matters in close collaboration with the rest of the Payroll team and other key stakeholders across our business.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:

  • driving the Danish monthly payroll processes, ensuring accurate calculations, data validation and timely delivery

  • acting as the go-to specialist for payroll and compensation topics, providing clear guidance to leaders and employees

  • managing payroll reporting and month-end close activities (salary analysis, bookings, reconciliations) for selected payroll areas

  • assisting in continuous improvements and projects across payroll and rewards

The team

Meet the team

You will join our Compensation & Benefits team, where we work with all payroll and rewards elements at Danske Commodities, including payroll activities for DC A/S, our international subsidiaries as well as core rewards structures.

We are a team of eight specialists and students in our team within the People & Culture unit. We have various backgrounds and work closely together as a dedicated team solving tasks and projects united, but with clear individual responsibilities and a large degree of independence in task execution. We take pride in delivering timely and correct payroll, delivering clear responses to payroll related inquiries and having fun while doing so.

Here, your payroll experience will make a real impact – from ensuring accuracy to shaping how we work with payroll in an international energy trading company.
Your qualifications

But enough about us… over to you!

As you will be working with monthly payroll, attention to detail and a structured approach to deadlines and people-critical data are key. You are naturally conscious of confidentiality when handling sensitive data, and act as a trusted and proactive partner when engaging with colleagues across the organisation.

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

  • are experienced with payroll processing, including monthly cycles and deadline-driven delivery. We use Intega as payroll provider, and if you’re not familiar with the system, we’ll teach you

  • have an in-depth understanding of payroll administration and compliance topics such as holiday reporting

  • have experience with month-end close activities such as salary analysis, bookings and reconciliations, and stakeholder reporting

  • can advise leaders and employees on payroll and compensation-related matters in a clear and solution-oriented way

  • can drive tasks and projects independently and improve processes in a collaborative team setup

Please note that prior knowledge of the energy sector is not required for this role.
