Fun fact: I come from a village of 1000 people and last time I was visiting home I got so bored that I programmed the “Snake” game in VBA Excel
I grew up in a farming family in a small place in Southern Bulgaria. My summers would pass with work during the day and reading novels during the evening.
My life is quite different now, living the fast pace of DC and the world of trading.
Because if you want to develop, you need to learn from the best! There is no better place to become an expert than DC!
Kiril Proykov, Business Operations Analyst
I work as a Business Operations Analyst and my job can be divided into two functions:
There are days that I will spend brainstorming of how a given process should work and there are days that I will spend coding and developing a big software solution.
A lot of walking! There is always something happening in DC where a fast decision needs to be made to solve a problem. However, there are also days when you can focus on your projects.
Communicating with my colleagues is of the utmost importance for me; I strive to be able to solve problems on the spot and deliver projects that meet the needs of my colleagues.
The challenging tasks. You will not be bored here and for sure it won't be too easy. This is something that excites me and I something I love about my job.
I love it when I receive a new request and when I read it for the first time it sounds like it is written in a different language. I then need to break it apart and understand it.
