Fun fact: I once had a pony and competed in Eventing competitions ("equestrian triathlon")
I grew up in the southern part of Denmark and I moved to Aarhus to study.
My first job was at the headquarters of a big Danish bank where I worked for 4 years. Then I was hired by DC. I am really glad that I switched to the energy sector; there is so much more speed and energy.
When I started in DC I was working in Risk where I took over the responsibility of settlement tools from our Front office. Since then I have worked in Finance & Accounting and now I am in IT.
Because I was inspired by the fast moving company with a lot of young talented people.
Maria Terp-Nielsen, IT Business Partner
I work as an IT Business Partner which gives me the responsibility of the Backoffice Program. My role serves as the link between IT and all our Backoffice teams (Legal, Risk, F&A and HR).
I am involved in projects and business analysis but I am also aligning prioritisation, resources and planning.
Every day is different. But a typical work day normally entails business analysis tasks, preparing PowerPoint presentations, aligning priorities, investigating and solving issues.
The variety. That no days are the same because I am involved in a lot of different tasks.
The success of our company is built on having the brightest minds working across the entire organisation.
