I am born and raised in Mårslet just south of Aarhus and besides a semester in Madrid and a couple of backpacker trips, I have lived in “Smilets By” most of my life. My entire professional career has been with DC and it has been quite a ride so far!
At the time I graduated, DC was the place to be. The company had a young and innovative vibe about it and I felt that I would be able to apply a very broad set of the skills, which I had picked up at university. And the reason I have decided to stay for more than five years is that DC truly is a great place to work. People are ambitious, you get responsibility if you want it and we are offered an almost endless stream of amazing benefits like sports events, company trips and a superb lunch.
Simon Meyer, IT Business Partner
With a background as Business Analyst in both business and IT teams, I now act as “IT Business Partner” for our front office teams where I bridge the gap between Traders and Developers. Every time the business comes up with an idea on how to grow their business or improve their processes, my role is to understand how those ideas can be translated into feasible IT solutions and to prioritise the many good ideas.
To boil it down, I am always either trying to understand a business challenge or figuring out how to solve it. That entails equal parts of interviews and workshops with business experts and focused desk time, trying to wrap my head around a challenge.
The best part of my job is that I find myself in the very epicenter of innovation in DC and that I get to work with so many motivated and skilled people. Also, I love that no two days are the same.
The success of our company is built on having the brightest minds working across the entire organisation.
