Fun fact: I'm afraid of spiders
I grew up in southern Jutland, only five kilometers from the German border. I loved being active and engaged in both handball, football, dancing, tennis, golf, swimming and gymnastics during my childhood. Today, I still play handball in Aarhus.

Charlotte Jessen, Junior Business Controller
At DC, I work as a Portfolio Manager, where I process large data sets and help optimise processes. My primary task is to help develop and maintain tools used in Finance & Accounting by using VBA and SQL. Moreover, I am also responsible for creating monthly settlements for some of our customers.
In a typical work day, I work on optimising a process, using different coding languages along with Excel. Some days, I also validate data used for settlement along with creating a customer specification of the settlement. And of course, a typical workday entails a good cup of coffee as well!
The best part of my job is that I get a lot of responsibility and challenges which enable me to learn a lot - and to learn it at a fast pace as well.
The success of our company is built on having the brightest minds working across the entire organisation.
