Fun fact: I won the Danish National Championship in Hip Hop dance when I was 12
I am born and raised in a small Danish town on Funen. In 2011, I moved to Copenhagen to study Business Administration and Psychology at Copenhagen Business School. Before joining DC, I worked five years as an external consultant within Organisational Development.
I wanted to work in a high-paced company with a winning mentality and ambitious, passionate people – DC covers both!
Sidsel Andersen Risager, People Development Partner
I work as a People Development Partner, which means I am responsible for the development, planning and execution of our people and organisational development initiatives. In DC we have a strong focus on people development and my role includes supporting our leaders in their own development and the development of their employees.
There is really no typical day for me as my job comes with a lot of variation. I mainly work on projects related to organisational and people development. A typical work day for me could include time on project work (e.g. development of leadership programmes) and day-to-day leader sparring on people development activities and cases.
The very best part of my job is to be working with development of people and our organisation in all aspects. DC is filled with passionate people that all want to be the best version of themselves in their daily job – to support them on that journey is what I enjoy the most.
The success of our company is built on having the brightest minds working across the entire organisation.
