Here’s what the job entails
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software solutions that support processes across Danske Commodities Brazil’s value chain. You will be working closely with a skilled software development team based in Denmark, while being surrounded by domain experts in the office in São Paulo.
By giving you the ideal conditions to become an expert software developer in the energy trading industry, you will take full responsibility for the software portfolio in Brazil as you grow in your role.
Concretely, your responsibilities include:
- designing, developing and maintaining software in a complex domain
- working closely with colleagues in the front and back office to find elegant solutions to business problems
- collaborating with teams in Denmark to ensure software in Brazil is developed using company-wide software development principles
- innovating on existing tools and processes to improve your colleagues’ commercial capabilities and productivity

You will be part of our vibrant office in the heart of Brazil’s largest city, São Paulo, working with a team of 15 dedicated colleagues in trading, finance, risk, legal and administration. We also imagine that you:
- hold a relevant educational background in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- have at least 3 years of experience working with software development in Python
- are fluent in English and Portuguese, both written and verbal
