Student employee for Marketing & Branding
Are you a student who's always ahead of the curve and eager to develop real-world marketing and branding skills? Do you have a knack for creating compelling content and analysing data? If so, you might be the perfect fit to help elevate Danske Commodities' brand to new heights.
Here’s what the job entails
Your main role will be boosting our social media presence and keeping our website fresh. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. You'll get hands-on experience across all marketing disciplines, both online and offline, from event coordination to data analysis. The position is time-limited to one year with the option for an extension.
Your responsibilities:
- Craft and manage engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram and our website to captivate potential employees and customers (mainly energy asset owners)
- Track engagement, analyse metrics and tweak content strategies for maximum impact
- Assist in planning and executing commercial and employer branding fairs and events
- Jump in on ad-hoc tasks like creating brochures, videos, event invites and more
Meet the team
You’ll join our Marketing & Branding team – seven creative minds always looking to add a little oomph to the Danske Commodities brand. We're part of a dynamic 14-person Strategy & Communications unit that drives Danske Commodities' corporate strategy, sustainability initiatives, and internal/external communications. Our diverse backgrounds fuel our shared mission to take DC's brand and business to new heights.
You’ll become part of a very brand-centric company that gives lots of responsibility, so you’ll have ample opportunity to develop and it’s up to you how much of a mark you want to make.
But enough about us… over to you!
We imagine you're studying marketing, communications or English, but there's no single path to this role. What matters most is your eye for a good angle, your concept creation skills and your way with words. Like us, you're passionate about people, service-minded and not afraid to voice your ideas for better ways of doing things.
Ideally, you:
- are able to source your own content and know how to tailor it for different platforms and target groups
- have worked with content management systems
- are digitally savvy and comfortable collecting and analysing website and social media data to optimise performance
- have a finger on the pulse and a knack for spotting trends
- are comfortable communicating in English, our company language
- can work 15-20 hrs. per week, but work hours are flexible and will of course be balanced with your studies
Although you should be ready to roll up your sleeves in a complex, yet exciting industry, no prior knowledge of the energy sector is required.
We’ll take good care of you
