Show job details

Are you curious and passionate about financial markets? If you have just graduated and want to gain hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the American energy sector—this could be the opportunity for you to become our new Quantitative Analyst for US short-term power trading!

The job

Here’s what the job entails

In this role, you will support the US short-term trading team in their daily operations and help transform strategies into algorithms.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • carrying out market analyses and testing hypotheses using the coding languages Python and SQL
  • building and maintaining trading and data visualisation tools
  • developing trading algorithms
The team

Meet the team

As our new Quantitative Analyst, you will join our US Short-Term Power Trading team in Aarhus, where we trade both financial and physical power across all North American markets.

You will be part of a close-knit, dedicated team of five colleagues who motivate, support and challenge one another. We thrive on curiosity and innovation, and we are always seeking new ways to enhance our strategies and processes.

We also imagine that you:

  • are currently pursuing or have completed a degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or a related field
  • have an interest in coding with Python and SQL—and already possess some coding experience
