Experienced IT systems developer
Are you passionate about both backend and frontend development and experienced in DevOps practices? Look no further for the chance to join a truly social and high-performing team!
Here’s what the job entails
In the role, your primary function will be to work with a diverse tech stack, including Backstage, Azure, Crossplane, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Grafana and OpenTelemetry. You will introduce and learn about new technologies, understand complex integrations and creatively solve problems while contributing new ideas and discoveries to the team. Additionally, you will engage in team discussions, provide support and foster a collaborative environment that values open dialogue and continuous learning.
Concretely, your areas of responsibility will include:
- integrating different systems seamlessly, ensuring smooth and efficient operation
- learning and adapting to new tools and technologies to solve problems creatively and keep systems updated
- maintaining and improving various tools and technologies, ensuring they work efficiently together
- actively contributing to a collaborative and team-oriented environment
Meet the team
You will join a team that works in the sweet spot between developers and infrastructure engineers, providing high-value solutions for the developer experience and shortening time-to-market based on best practices. We are responsible for building, maintaining and improving DevX and DevOps services, helping to create a more efficient development experience for the business by providing the best tools, resources and support. You will primarily work in three streams: CI/CD and Tooling, The Developer Portal and Automation.
We are a team of social, curious, nerdy and inventive individuals with various backgrounds and profiles. You will be part of a team where we value humour, psychological safety and personal development.
Join us in revolutionising the developer experience! As an IT systems developer, you will thrive in a dynamic, innovative environment where your passion for both backend and frontend development will be celebrated. You will have the opportunity to shape, execute and communicate groundbreaking solutions, all while being part of a supportive, growth-focused team
But enough about us… over to you!
As you will be working with a diverse tech stack, we see you as a person who thrives on working with complex integrations, is motivated to take responsibility for driving things forward and challenge the status quo. We also picture you as someone with a can-do attitude who is not afraid to roll up your sleeves – whether it is a quick fix or a complex challenge, as the team covers a wide range of tasks and always helps each other get the job done.
We also imagine that you:
- hold a relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field – or substantial experience in these fields
- have experience in both backend and frontend development, including integration of systems
- are able to understand infrastructural concepts, ideally within Kubernetes and to some extend Azure
- have strong skills in languages such as Typescript/React, Go, Python and C# .NET.
