Experienced software developer – Agile lead

Show job details

Are you a skilled developer who enjoys building impactful systems, leading by example, and driving team growth? Join us to shape solutions that matter and foster agile, continuous improvement.

The job

Here’s what the job entails

As a key contributor, you’ll develop, maintain, and operate our ETRM system. You’ll be deeply engaged in understanding our users challenges and how to create actual value on the user side. Consequently, you will be translating those insights into scalable, high-performing solutions. You’ll also help foster a culture of continuous improvement, acting as an informal leader and role model within the team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Hands-on development, maintenance, and operation of our ETRM landscape
  • Being curious about user pains and business needs, and turning them into opportunities
  • Driving continuous improvement and agile ways of working
  • Promoting a team culture centered on collaboration, performance, and shared goals
  • Serving as the team’s Scrum Master, facilitating agile ceremonies and supporting the team’s self-organization and delivery focus

The team

Meet the team

We’re a self-organizing product team of 11 specialists in Software Development, Data Engineering, QA, Business Analysis, and Product Management. Our ETRM system processes and validates all company trades, supporting energy traders with data-driven insights into decision-making, governance, and market execution.

We’re social, curious, and motivated, always striving to be a little better than yesterday. We’re looking for someone who shares that mindset and is ready to contribute with both technical expertise and team spirit.

Joining our team means taking on a pivotal role in shaping and evolving our business-critical Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system. You’ll be part of a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and craftsmanship. Here, your drive to understand user pains and unlock their potential wins will directly influence our success.
Your qualifications

But enough about us… over to you!

You’re a value-driven developer who’s curious about how users experience the solutions you build. You are goal-oriented, agile in your thinking and actions, and you thrive in a feedback-rich environment. You lead informally by example and are energized by helping others grow.

We imagine you also:

  • Hold a relevant educational background in software development or computer science
  • Have 3+ years of experience as a software developer
  • Are proficient in C#.NET and SQL
  • Have interest in Domain-Driven Design and automated testing
  • Are comfortable with servant leadership and agile methodologies

Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
