Fun fact: I recently had my first face to face with a seal while surfing off the Danish coast
I graduated from a French Engineering school and worked as a consulting Actuary for the last three years in a small French company. Whether it involves sailing, surfing, skiing or a simple hike, I am extremely keen on outdoor activities.
A challenging position in a challenging company - doesn’t it sound “hyggelig”?
Guillaume de Kervénoaël, Quantitative Analyst
I am responsible for the models our team uses to price the different products we commercialise. I also manage the options portfolio that we commercialise for our customers. These solutions aim to provide our customers better protection towards specific risks and allow them to grow with a more secure activity.
My typical work day varies a lot depending on the main project my attention is focused on. Still, whatever the subject, it most surely implies a computer, some coding lines and deep discussions with the different Portfolio Managers in my team: a typical Quant life.
Developing solutions that bring value to our customers: as a Quant, I both attend the discussion regarding the projects’ elaboration and actively contribute to its implementation - from the creation
to the dynamic management by the Portfolio Manager.
The success of our company is built on having the brightest minds working across the entire organisation.
