Here’s what the job entails
In the role, your primary function will be to ensure our trade controlling operations are executed and reported in a precise and compliant manner. Your areas of responsibility will include the following:
- contribute to high-quality trading operations by handling trade validations and confirmations
- ensure efficient and correct reporting of trade details to authorities, including EMIR and REMIT reporting as well as declarations
- drive the implementation of new reporting requirements and trade validation processes
Meet the team
You will join our Trade Controlling & Reporting team that works with trade validation and master data. Our team consists of six skilled, quality-minded and committed colleagues who all contribute with their diverse professional and educational backgrounds. The team acts as the operational link in Danske Commodities, connecting the entire business value chain. We create value by ensuring proper trade controlling, timely reporting and high-quality master data. Gathering these tasks in one team allows for a more efficient operational trading setup – while also paving the way for us to grow our customer business.
You will play an important role in our value chain as you will be responsible for ensuring Danske Commodities’ trades are reported in a compliant manner. Therefore, you will play a key role in connecting our front-office trading activities with our back-office processes.

To ensure well-running business operations, we are looking for someone who employs an analytical approach to problem-solving, choosing the best solution for each problem – and who sees opportunities where others see problems. Also, we imagine you are motivated and not afraid of taking responsibility – you will be expected to drive things forward and challenge things when needed.
We also imagine that you:
- have 3-4 years of experience in a similar position or as a business controller. But your background is not the tipping point
- are great at coordinating and enjoy dealing with different stakeholders
- have prior experience working with regulatory reporting (EMIR, REMIT)
- are proficient in English – both written and verbal
Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
