The job

Here’s what the job entails

In the role, your primary function will be to provide the organisation with relevant legal input for decision-making regarding current and future business opportunities. You will gain valuable experience within the energy market, especially renewable energy.

Your areas of responsibility will include the following:

  • support the organisation in assessing legal risks and value in current and future contractual relations
  • draft and negotiate contracts primarily focused on the German market and IT
  • be the in-house law specialist for all legal requests
The team

Meet the team

You will join the Legal & Market Access team, where our role is to identify and mitigate legal risks, especially in contract drafting and negotiation. For that reason, we work closely with the commercial teams to understand our business and products and help develop a legal framework.

We are a team of six committed, innovative and experienced legal counsels who collaborate extensively with the organisation and external legal advisors. We are also a social team who enjoys spending time together.

Your qualifications

As you will be working on legal matters in a complex business, we imagine youhave a can-do-attitude where no job is too big orsmall – the team covers a wide range of tasks, and we always support each other in getting the job done. We also picture you as an outgoing person with great stakeholder management skills.

We also imagine that you:

  • hold a relevant educational background in law
  • have at least two years’ experience in a similar position, either with a law firm or as an in-house counsel
  • are proficient in English and German – both written and verbal

Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
