The job

Here’s what the job entails

In the role, your main responsibility will be to make sure Danske Commodities has the necessary legal documents, registrations and licenses in the areas we operate.

Concretely, your responsibilities will include:

  • help the organisation enter new markets and launch new products
  • ensure our ongoing access to our current markets
  • setup traders on trading platforms worldwide
  • managing relationships with exchanges, clearing banks, brokers and other partners for both existing and new products
  • assist with market research to ensure our market access is set up correctly in all the countries where we do business
The team

Meet the team

You will be joining our Market Access team, where we ensure Danske Commodities has continuous access to current markets and products while also preparing for new market entries and product launches. In short, we enable traders to access the products and markets they want to trade in. This means that we act as a business partner to the organisation and add value by supporting the trading units.

We are a team of four dedicated specialists with diverse backgrounds, and what brings us together is our shared goal: taking our business to new heights. We enjoy social activities with our colleagues in the Legal & Compliance unit. If you are passionate about what you do and want to have fun in a team of bright minds, you will feel right at home with us in the Market Access team.

You will play a vital role in ensuring Danske Commodities’ access to existing and new markets.
Your qualifications

But enough about us… over to you!

Since you will be handling business-critical tasks with sometimes tight deadlines, we are looking for someone who approaches work in a structured and quality-conscious manner. As our responsibilities cover a wide range of tasks, we also picture you as a proactive and collaborative person, who also like to investigate and do thorough research when needed.

We also imagine that you:

  • have a relevant Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics or value chain management. However, your educational background is not the tipping point for us.
  • have at least two years of experience from a coordinating role
  • are proficient in English – both written and verbal

Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
