German-speaking commercial asset manager

Here’s what the job entails
In the role, you will be responsible for managing the commercial asset management customer portfolio, primarily in Germany. You will be supporting our originators in the German market, turning renewables and flexible asset owners into customers. This means, you will gain valuable experience with our renewables and flexible asset business.
Concretely, your main responsibilities will include:
- support our German originators in turning renewables and flexible asset owners into customers by drafting contracts, facilitating customer meetings, handling tender processes and driving business development
- collect master data from our customers to enable us to seal the deal on contracts
- run projects to optimise our customer business in Germany – both within the team and across the business
The position is based in our headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark.
Meet the team
As our new commercial asset manager, you will be part of the Commercial Asset Management team, dedicated to optimising and growing Danske Commodities’ customer-related activities in Europe. The team collaborates closely with our European Origination team to grow our customer business by drafting contracts, managing tender processes and driving business development – thereby turning renewables and flexible asset owners into customers. Our purpose is to build customer loyalty and maintain competitiveness by offering a solid customer journey.

Since you will be shaping our German customer business, we are looking for a German-speaking colleague, who enjoys optimising processes As you will collaborate with a bunch of different people, we also picture you as someone skilled in effective stakeholder management.
We also imagine that you:
- have some experience in a similar administrative or support role, maybe in the energy industry
- are curious about the renewable energy industry
- are proficient in German and English – both written and verbal
