Compliance specialist

Show job details

Do you have compliance experience from the energy industry or financial sector – and are you ready to put it to use in a global energy trading company? If so, you have come to the right place.

The job

Here’s what the job entails

In this role, your main responsibilities will be supporting the organisation on compliance-related matters and regulatory requirements, and, not least, acting as an important sparring partner to your colleagues.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • handling compliance-related matters
  • staying updated on regulatory developments related to trading compliance, in particular REMIT, MAR, EMIR and MiFID II regulations
  • supporting the business with regulatory requirements
  • implementing regulatory requirements
  • delivering compliance training to relevant teams
The team

Meet the team

You will join our compliance team, which manages Danske Commodities’ compliance programme. This includes both business ethics and compliance with energy and financial regulations. We support the entire organisation both locally and globally and work closely with stakeholders from our commercial activities.

The Compliance team is part of the Legal & Compliance business unit and consists of six specialists in regulations related to trading compliance and business ethics. We are a dedicated and fun-loving team that takes pride in high-quality work – and, of course, always remains compliant.

You will have plenty of opportunities to grow your compliance skills and take responsibility for managing your own tasks within a complex industry.
Your qualifications

But enough about us… over to you!

As you will be working independently with compliance matters and collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation, we picture you as an outgoing team-player who thrives on responsibility and works in a structured manner.

We also imagine that you:

  • have a relevant educational background in law
  • have experience working with compliance
  • are familiar with (or have an interest in) energy regulations such as REMIT, MAR, EMIR and/or MiFID II
  • are proficient in English – both written and spoken

Please note that prior knowledge of the energy industry is not a requirement for this role.
